Eid Ul Fitr with South Side
Eid Committee (SSEC)
The MSA/IIT will be joining the SSEC to celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr. It is sunnah for Eid to have the Eid prayers in a large gathering of Muslims. Thus there will be no Eid prayer at MSA mosque, but the Eid prayers will be held at Taylor Park with SSEC. For transportation information, please see "Eid-ul-fitr 1430" information below. For the
past 14 years the South Side Eid Committee has taken on the
responsibility of organizing this blessed event. The South Side Eid
Committee consists of volunteers from the Muslim community on the south
side of Chicago and the greater Chicago area.
